Introduction of the “Swing Life Support System”

The “Swing Life Support System” is a water treatment system for aquariums which not only improves water transparency but also maintains an appropriate water environment adapted for each individual animal and other sea life.

Provides optimal living environment for aquatic animals

Swing Corporation, as the pioneer in comprehensive water processing for zoos and aquariums, endeavors to design a optimum system for habitat environment for animals and sea life through deep consideration with insight and expertise.

A water environment optimized for animals and sea life is provided at Kamogawa Seaworld, through the introduction of “Swing Life Support System” and performance of on-going water quality analysis and equipment maintenance.

Advanced water treatment technology that excels in maintenance control

Sea water is mostly used for all of about 60 pools of varying sizes and tanks for breeding and displaying sea life. However, it is not free-flowing sea water as is the case with natural springs, but rather the sea water taken from the Pacific Ocean, filtered and circulated.
Water in the tanks for breeding and displaying animals and fish contain excrement, food particles and a number of other materials that cause deterioration of water quality and transparency. The “Swing Life Support System” incorporates biofilteration equipment and various other water treatment technologies, making it possible to clean the clean and clear water.
Further, special materials are used for the parts exposed to sea water, such as pumps, pipes and valves, for the ease of maintenance control and life cycle cost considerations.
