Katori City, Chiba Prefecture, is located 15 km from the Narita Airport.
The city has been selected as the first area in the Kanto region to conserve a group of important traditional buildings. The landfill leachate is treated by biological treatment, coagulation and sedimentation, advanced treatment and in addition, desalinated by electrodialysis membranes.
By reusing treated water as utility water for incineration facilities and landfill sites, we have achieved no discharge system.
